DATEV Online coverage

Connect a customer-authorized DATEV accounting dataset to Zwapgrid. The DATEV Online connection provides accounting-period data through API.1 and access to DATEV Accounting Data Exchange export routes through Proxy.1 for the authorized company.

Available capabilities

• Fiscal years and accounting periods: Read the selected dataset’s fiscal years, including start and end dates, with GET /accountingperiods.
• Accounting Data Exchange exports: Request DATEV export routes for the authorized company through Proxy.1 and receive DATEV’s native response formats. The routes available to a connection depend on its DATEV product subscription and dataset permissions.

Connect DATEV Online

1. Prepare access. Set up a client-managed DATEV application with the relevant Accounting Data Exchange subscription and dataset permissions.
2. Configure the application. Add the DATEV application credentials to a System Setting in the appropriate Zwapgrid environment.
3. Authorize a dataset. Create a consent and let the customer select the accounting dataset they want to share.
4. Use the connection. Read fiscal years with GET /accountingperiods and request the DATEV export routes needed for your workflow through Proxy.1.
